Indika Thushara Asuramanna
General Manager / CEO
Thushara Asuramanna, with 24+ years in Development & Retail Banking, excels in strategic and credit risk management, and customer relations. Starting his career in 1999 at National Development Bank Plc., he became Senior Manager at Nations Trust Bank in 2011, advancing to Vice President of Commercial Credit Management.
Since July 2022, he's been GM/CEO. A first-class Electrical Engineer from University of Moratuwa and an MBA from University of Sri Jayewardanapura, he's a member of ACMA and CGMA, and a certified SME Finance Expert. As a visiting lecturer and trainer, he's contributed to banking education and recently assisted the Regional Development Bank under ADB. Involved in Lionism since 2018, he currently serves as a Director at Lions Club of Malabe Horizon, focusing on UN sustainability goals
